Simpsonville, We Have a Problem

Something tells us we may end up with a Special Simpsonville only page at one point in the near future. Why? Well, here is the headline from the Greenville News this week: "No ejections at latest Simpsonville City council meeting."

Say what? The story, while factual, doesn't really catch the entire insanity of what has happened in this city, which used to be the pride of The Golden Strip just a few years ago. Indicted mayors. Police chiefs fired. City attorneys fired. Two council upheavels. Enought political theatrics to fill a book.

We are pretty sure that Simpsonville isn't the only city that has what they called "issues," but for now it is the only one that airs them like an especially manic episode of The Simpsons.
