No Nanney, No Fuss at Chamber event

Three days after a public political beating not seen in Greenville since the days of Richard Pearis, State Rep. Wendy Nanney missed a Greenville Chamber candidate forum Friday citing the birth of twin grandchildren.

We can't help, but wonder if her being called out on her continued failure to go to Columbia to do her job and the subsequent media spotlight have played a part in her failure to be in the same room as challenger Jason Elliott.

To recap, this race is for District 22, which runs from North Main area, up Wade Hampton, into Botany Woods and then a large swath of the Pelham Road area.
