The Battle for Senate 5 Intensifies

State Senate Five can be best compared to "The North" in Game of Thrones. It is vast, expansive, clanish, a little rough in spots and has surprising spots of money.
To win The North, er Senate Five, traditionally meant calling in your bannermen (aka relatives) to vote as much as humanly possible. It has long been the key to success because it is such a large area geographically.
With that in mind, this year's campaign as been a little nastier and more contentious than past ones as John B. White tries to rattle the incumbent Tom Corbin, who is usually pretty unrattleable.
What has been going on? Mostly it is social media postings with each taking potshots at the other.
Here are some of the more fun things in the past week.
-- Video of Corbin shooting at a gun range/open field.
-- Pictures of White talking to an empty chair at a town hall. The concept/idea is that Corbin didn't care about the people so he didn't show up.
-- White posting a video suggesting Corbin is not telling the truth.
-- Corbin posting the same about White.
All we need Hodor running around, a giant wall protecting South Carolina from North Carolina and Ed Stark intoning "Winter is coming," and HBO will be filming here next year.
