The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight Misses Again

We get the feeling that members of a kabal of Greenville legislators picked up the Greenville News this morning, read the headlines and threw the paper down and yipped, "Curses, foiled again."

The headline in question was "SC top court denies request for judgement in GHS restructuring case," which leads into a story that basically tells the tale of how conspiracy-laden effort by several legislators to prevent people from getting better healthcare in the Upstate was thwarted again.

This time the Gang that couldn't shoot straight was trying to get an injunction against the Greenville Health System's restructuring plan. They failed, but as usual are unbowed in their all out attempt to keep power for themselves at all costs.

According to the Greenville News article:

"Rep. Mike Burns said the legislators will move to file a suit in circuit court to decide whether GHS has the authority.

'I wasn’t surprised by the decision because approving the restructuring would have opened the door for any political subdivision in the state to do the same thing GHS is doing and confiscate the people’s assets across South Carolina, leaving the state no oversight,' he said."
