RIP Lottie Gibson

Greenville lost a political icon last night in Lottie Gibson. A political leader for more than two generations, she spent 24 years on County Council. She has been ill for the past year, which played a large part in her losing her seat to Ennis Fant last June in the Democratic Primary.

She will, as they say, be missed.
